Picasso

A couple weeks ago we went to the Bakers' for dinner and to let Kiddos play. Ashlee and I were feeding Endsley and McKennon, Jill was anxiously awaiting the arrival of Ann Cortner and Billy, Jeremy and Brooks were on the grill; all while Houston and Riley were "playing" in the bonus room. As all this was going on little did we know that Houston and Riley were becoming our little Picassos, down the stairs they came with green hands, red clothes and smiles from ear to ear..... they had gotten into Riley art easel.... ahhhhh. Both Ashlee and I were so shocked we didn't even snap a picture. They both proudly announced "we painded pictures!!!!". In the bath they went, if only the carpet would have cleaned up as easily as they did. After dinner I did get a picture of our little artists with each other's little sisters.
Posted by PicasaI'm sure this is not the last time they will get into trouble together!

I wanna Work!!

Houston really wants to be just like his daddy. A pen had stained one of Brooks' work shirts so I told Houston he could wear it. He proceeded to grab his hat and sunglasses and inform me that he was "going to work" I ask him where and he said on a "truck"! Here are a few pics of Houston going to "work"!

looks like we might have another Jones in the family business!

Snacks and Boobies

Houston has been saying the most hilarious things lately! I'm not sure what is funnier, his mispronunciations or how he attempts to talk like an adult. The other day I cried I laughed so hard at what he said, the poor thing has a bad cold so everything sounds extra ridiculous and I thought I would let him snuggle in my bed. The conversation went like this....

Me "Houston do you want to lay in Mommy's bed"

Houston "Sure, I wanna watch a bovie" (not movie, bovie)

Me " okay what movie?"

Houston "no not bovie I wanna watch a show"

At this point I am scrolling through the guide and suggesting a few kid friendly shows and when I suggested max and ruby ( a program that we dont normally watch) Houston exclaimed...

"Sure Snacks and boobies, I wanna watch snacks and boobies, SNACKS AND BOOBIES MOMMY!" I could of died in laughter!

I would just like to note the the term "boobies is not a common word around our house!
