6 months

6 months already... Half a year... oh I might just have a mommy meltdown! Today our beautiful little girl turned 6 months old at 10:58 am. Elizabeth McKennon you have made quite a little turn around over the last couple months and have become the happiest little girl! You no longer mind the car (thank you dear Lord), you sleep through the night like a champ, and are mostly smiles! You have discovered your toes (which are probably your favorite toy), have mastered rolling over, are close to sitting up like a big girl, have begun eating baby food (which you don't really care for yet.. but we will keep trying). You adore your big brother, and squeal with delight when you see your Mommy or Daddy. We are so blessed to have you in our lives... Happy Birthday Sweet McKennon!

Snow!

While Brooks and I were in Vegas, Mother Nature dumped 6 inches of snow on little Columbia, Tennessee! 6 inches comes few and far between around here! Poor MeMe and Pops were snowed in with both kids while were out living it up... we owe them BIG TIME! When we arrived home the humble abode was covered in this beautiful white blanket!

I couldn't resist getting Houston out to play Monday morning and Kelly came over to spend the day with us as well. Houston loved it! I actually had a hard time getting him to come back in! McKennon only made brief appearances in her first snow but didn't seem to mind the cold too much!

Vegas Baby!!!

A couple weeks ago Brooks and I were able to take a long weekend away with our friends Kim and David to VEGAS BABY! We had a blast to say the least! This was the first time myself or David and Kim to visit Vegas so we were definitely the ultimate tourists!! We were able to do a little of everything. We saw the sites, went to two shows, ate way too much, drank a few adult beverages and oh yeah, gambled a little too! We all missed our kiddos while away but I must say it was a much needed break from the daily ups and downs of the real world! Although our pockets came back a little lighter than when we left the trip was truly priceless!
